Today was quality day in market beef showing land, and my daughter and Pumpkin did great, coming in behind the reserve champion steer in her class. Quality day is about the overall awesomeness of the steer.
The quality of my overall demeanor is holding pretty strong as I only had to walk the 1/4 mile back to my trailer once today during showing (to get my daughter鈥檚 belt) which has to be some kind of record!
On the fair food front, today held a new delight for me as I tried caramelized cashew and pineapple, honey drizzled pepperoni pizza (it was divine). Tomorrow is another fun-filled day of showing, fair is going splendidly馃槉
