Posting in this community seemed impossible for me. I saw LeoFinance from afar as a community of experts in crypto world economics and I feared that my voice would not carry any weight among users with more expertise in these topics. None of this has changed, but if there is one thing that has made it possible for me to post in this community it is the LeoThreads Adoption Campaign.

This post was started while the WenSoon Show 🐆🐅🐈 of Tuesday was running live. You can imagine people speaking about trading and cryptonomics left me a little lost 😂.

But to tell you a bit about my vision about cryptocurrencies and my discovery of #Hive, I have to go back to September 2022, when in Havana the Bitcoin Asere conference took place, the first event of the crypto community in Cuba, in which @manuphotos, leader of #HiveCuba community, was part of the organizing team. #Hive, therefore, would be one of the topics to be addressed.

I remember they were saying that in Hive you could write, sing, upload videos and practically anything your creative soul could think of, and all I did was ask myself -But what is Hive: An app, a cryptocurrency, a Telegram group? I didn't understand anything. But my curious and knowledge-hungry nature did its thing and, after the live event, I made it a point to get into the ecosystem, however I could.

So I started by downloading the @Ecency mobile app, and following the steps that the app showed me, I managed to create a free account (I don't know how this happened 😂, I know it's a bit complicated, but I did it). The next step was to create my introductory post, and although it wasn't the ideal one, it was the most in line and sincere with my last year's me, totally unaware of Hive.

It wasn't very successful, in that it wasn't the best introductory, but I'm very happy with my journey in the ecosystem so far and I'm glad to have kept creating not only content, but friendships and ties with the communities of #HiveCuba, #HivePizza, #QueRiquera and now #LeoFinance.

But this post is about introducing myself to the #LEO community, so let's talk now about my beginnings in the crypto world:

Well I will tell you that I started in 2021 with the P2E video game Axie Infinity, which is still active and over two years I have been able to buy my own axies (name of the NFTs creatures inside the game). I must say that I have a special affection for this game, since I learned the basics of the #web3 world.

I learned about NFTs, wallet security, blockchains, decentralized exchanges, how stake pools work, the difference between tokens and cryptocurrencies, play to earn games that later changed their name to play and earn, in short... Axie was my first school in the fascinating world of Web 3.0.

Then I was getting to know Bitcoin a bit by chance, I say by chance because I remember that somehow I passed a course of the Bitcoin Magazine and at the end they rewarded me with some satoshis, which at the beginning of 2022 I think they were worth a dollar. The learning came later with the discovery of the #LightningNetwork and its multiple wallets.

Since then I've been a fan of that second layer of #Bitcoin, and I like to stack satoshis whenever I get the chance. It is worth saying that while #LN fees are low, it is true that Hive has the bonus of transacting within its ecosystem spending only resource credits, this is a strength that I believe removes barriers to operate within the blockchain.

But from my point of view, #Hive still needs a lot of work from a web development, design and marketing point of view. I know there are many people like me who have the same question when they talk to you about #Hive: -But what is it, an ecosystem, an app? What is it?

In that sense, #Leothreads can be a perfect onboarding platform for users unaware of Hive. This new platform that tries to be the Twitter of the Internet 3.0 is managing to create a buzz within the ecosystem and beyond thanks to the excellent coordination of the marketing team and the massive adoption campaign of #Threads.

I can affirm that thanks to the threads functionality I have come to interact with people that otherwise I wouldn't have had the opportunity to talk to, since there in threads we don't just talk about economics, but about any topic of daily life, but of course we are all aware that we are creating on Hive.

With all the above said, you can see that I am more of an amateur in the crypto world. I consider my learning to be slow, but crushing. That's how I feel comfortable. I don't know how to trade, for example, but thanks to @nanixxx I'm copying his orders and I'm slowly understanding how the markets work.

Comencé a escribir este post cuando andaba el WenSoon Show 🐆🐅🐈 de martes en vivo. Podrás imaginar que el chat hablando en inglés sobre criptomonedas y mercados me dejaron un poquito perdido 😂.

Pero para hablarles un poco de mi visión sobre las criptomonedas y mi descubrimiento de #Hive, tengo que remontarme a Septiembre de 2022, cuando en La Habana se desarrolló la conferencia Bitcoin Asere, el primer evento de la comunidad cripto de Cuba, en la cual estaba @manuphotos como parte del equipo organizador, #Hive, por tanto, sería una de las temáticas a abordar.

Recuerdo que decían que en #Hive podías escribir, cantar, subir videos y prácticamente cualquier cosa que se le ocurriera a tu alma creativa, y yo lo único que hacía era preguntarme -¿Pero qué cosa es #Hive: Una aplicación, una criptomoneda, un grupo de Telegram? No entendía nada. Pero mi naturaleza curiosa y hambrienta de conocimientos hizo lo suyo y, luego del evento en vivo, me propuse entrar al ecosistema, fuera como fuera.

Por eso comencé descargando la app móvil @Ecency, y siguiendo los pasos que las ventanas me iba indicando la misma aplicación, logré crearme una cuenta gratuita (No sé cómo ocurrió esto 😂, sé que es un poco complicado, pero lo conseguí). El próximo paso fue crear mi post introductorio, y aunque no fue el ideal, sí fue el más acorde y sincero con mi yo del año pasado, desconocedor total de Hive.

No fue muy exitoso, por cuanto no fue el mejor introductorio, pero estoy muy feliz con mi camino en el ecosistema hasta ahora y me alegro de haberme mantenido creando no solo contenidos, sino amistades y lazos con las comunidades de #HiveCuba, #HivePizza, #QueRiquera y ahora #LeoFinance.

Pero este post va de presentarme ante la comunidad #LEO, así que hablemos ahora de mis inicios en el mundo cripto:

Pues les comentaré que comencé en el año 2021 con el videojuego P2E Axie Infinity, el cual todavía se mantiene activo y a lo largo de dos años he podido comprar mis propios axies (nombre de las criaturas NFTs dentro del juego). Debo decir que a este juego le guardo un cariño especial, puesto que aprendí lo más básico del mundo de la #web3.

Aprendí sobre NFTs, seguridad de las wallets, blockchains, exchanges descentralizadas, funcionamiento de las pools de stake, la diferencia entre tokens y criptomonedas, juegos play to earn que luego cambiaron su denominación a play and earn, en fin... Axie fue mi primera escuela en el fascinante mundo de la Web 3.0.

Luego fui conociendo un poco por azar a Bitcoin, digo al azar porque recuerdo que de alguna manera pase un curso de la revista Bitcoin Magazine y al final me recompensaban con unos satoshis, que a comienzos de 2022 creo que valían un dólar. El aprendizaje vino después con el descubrimiento de la #LightningNetwork y sus múltiples billeteras.

Desde entonces soy un fanático de esa segunda capa de #Bitcoin, y me gusta apilar satoshis siempre que tengo oportunidad. Vale decir que si bien los fees de la #LN son bajos, es cierto que Hive tiene el plus de realizar transacciones dentro de su ecosistema gastando solamente créditos de recursos, esto es una fortaleza que creo elimina las barreras para operar dentro de la blockchain.

Pero desde mi punto de vista, #Hive aún necesita mucho trabajo desde el punto de vista de desarrollo web, de diseño y de marketing. Sé que hay muchas personas que como yo les surge la misma pregunta cuando le hablan de #Hive: -¿Pero qué es, un ecosistema, una app? ¿Qué es?

En ese sentido, #Leothreads puede ser una perfecta plataforma de abordaje de usuarios desconocedores de Hive. Esta nueva plataforma que intenta ser el Twitter de la Internet 3.0 está logrando crear un zumbido dentro del ecosistema y fuera de él gracias a la excelente coordinación del equipo de marketing y a la campaña de adopción masiva de #Threads.

Puedo afirmar que gracias a la funcionalidad threads he llegado a interactuar con personas que de otra manera no hubiera tenido la oportunidad de hablar, puesto que allá en threads no se habla solamente de economía, sino de cualquier tema de la vida diaria, pero desde luego que todos estamos conscientes de que estamos creando sobre Hive.

Con todo lo anterior dicho, pueden ver que soy más bien un amateur del mundo cripto. Considero que mi aprendizaje es lento, pero aplastante. Así me siento cómodo. No sé tradear, por ejemplo, pero gracias a @nanixxx estoy copiando sus órdenes y poco a poco voy comprendiendo cómo funcionan los mercados.
