We sinister creatures
That feed on heap of misfortunes
Flapped our wings wildly as we hovered
Upon the bodies of fallen men
Littering the battlefield
Like strands of hair in a barber shop
There will be a great feast tonight
As we feed on the flesh of men
Who died while fighting in a war
Of what cause they knew nothing about
The world will say that vultures are vicious
And they will be right,
Only if the kings who sent
These men to their death
Will also be regarded as vultures.
