A short time ago my girlfriend and I went for a nice little day in the Barossa Valley and...well, we had a nice little day indeed.

The main reason was to check out a model aircraft event which I have posted about here and a great time was had, but we also headed into a little town called Tanunda for lunch and a walk around and with the weather sunny (but very cool) it was very enjoyable.

We've had a very strange autumn this year, next to no rain and temperatures around 10 degrees Celsius over the average. It's meant things haven't greened-up after summer and it's been worse since we've had so little rain over the last eighteen months.

It's not been very autumnish...that's not a word really, but because I wrote it here...well, I guess it is a word...now.

With nature not inclined to throw autumn around as per normal my girlfriend decided she'd better take matters into her own hands. I've been in her hands on many occasions and can attest to it being a good place to be, but what I'm talking about is her throwing some fallen autumn leaves around the place in a glorious celebration of autumn...or just because I asked her to so I could get a photo.

I like autumn...and spring...and winter and summer can fuck off! It gets so damned hot here which is why summer isn't a favourite season for me. But what about you.

Do you have a favourite season and if so which is it? If not, do you have a season you don't like and if so why? Feel free to comment below. If you have a seasonal photo you'd like to share as well...go right ahead.
