Hey team, what's up y'all? Phew, what a huge day I've had! I wrote a little earlier about it but at that point the day hadn't finished...And what a finish it was! So,I figured a (delayed) Live action post was in order.
After our big day none of us felt like cooking dinner so I took all of us to a place called The Pancake Kitchen for dinner and dessert. It's a rather iconic place here in Adelaide and this year, after being located only in the CBD, they branched out into two new locations. They've been around since 1963 so they took their time!
They do meals as well as pancakes so we shared a few dishes being careful not to fill up too much: We had to leave room for pancakes right?
We got some bloody awesome chicken wings, pulled beef nachos and a baked potato skins thing - All huge serves! Sharing them was a breeze and there was loads to go around.
After a brief pause it was pancakes time. You can see a chocolate pancake image above...Not what I had though. Mine was Bavarian apple with warm apple, sultanas, cinnamon, spices and ice cream. Lashings of maple syrup too of course. I took a picture and sent it to 
So...I'm now home after a big day...Sugar loaded and a bit worn out. It was a cracker of a day though.
Tomorrow should be more of the same.
We're heading to a place called The Big Rocking Horse at Gumeracha in the Adelaide Hills. It's a toy store/factory. They have a petting zoo there and some Aussie wildlife so my little nephew will love it. I'll get some pictures of course.
