I share with you this photo of my niece playing with sparklers. I love this photo not only because my niece is on it, but all that it meant to take it. She has Autism, and making her look into the camera sometimes is quite challenging. I literally pursued her through the street trying to capture a good playful moment. I took nearly 50 shots before obtaining this one. Then, the magic happened. She looked at me directly, showed me her sparkler, and posed!
Once I took it, I ran into showing everyone. I love this shot because it is a reminder of that phrase Dumbledore said in the Harry Potter series. We just have to remember to turn on our inner light once in dark times. This photo was taken on December 31th, 2019; oh boy how right was to think this before we received 2020.
Maybe you have experienced days where hope seems lost, I do experience them too. Just try to remember to keep your light on and shining. Be a light wherever you are and whenever you can.
