Good evening, #Monomad friends

Here is my entry for the #monomad contest by brumest@brumest and monochromes@monochromes.

The Trinity

Virtually everything we see and everything that exists follows a rule or law. It may not be visible to our eyes, but it’s there, underlying everything...

A walk can be a gathering place for friends, coworkers, or mothers of children who attend a certain school.

We have no way of knowing what relationship these people have with one another.

What is certain is that, at this moment in time and space, their proximity has allowed them to walk side by side through an urban park and talk about one topic or another.

Perhaps just what they heard a neighbor say, or what happened yesterday on the daily soap opera.

Everything is a reason for us to share. And here, in my view, lies the strength and true meaning of a healthy society.

We seek out others, not only because we’re compelled to engage with them—as happens at certain moments in our lives—but because there’s a genuine interest in being with them, sharing time, and discovering a little more about the world around us.

Only by listening, seeing, feeling, and smelling what’s happening around us can we truly know—or gain a better sense—of what surrounds us.

However, we must never neglect our inner selves, lest we one day find ourselves merely reacting to external stimuli without even paying attention to what is most fundamental to us: our very existence and survival.
