A few days ago, we had some really heavy rain, and once it finally stopped, the sky looked completely different.
कुछ दिन पहले बहुत तेज़ बारिश हुई थी और जब आखिरकार बारिश रुकी, तो आसमान एकदम अलग ही लग रहा था।
The air felt so fresh and clear, and for once, I could see the hills properly. The layers of mountains looked so close, with the dark pine trees and little houses scattered across the slopes. The sunlight was also coming through the clouds in patches, making some parts of the hills look bright while others were still covered in shadows.
हवा इतनी साफ और ताज़ा थी कि दूर तक पहाड़ बिल्कुल साफ दिखाई दे रहे थे। पहाड़ों की एक के पीछे एक कई परतें दिख रही थीं, नीचे गहरे हरे देवदार के पेड़ और उनके बीच पहाड़ियों पर बने छोटे-छोटे घर। बादलों के बीच से धूप भी निकल रही थी, जिसकी वजह से कहीं पहाड़ रोशनी में चमक रहे थे तो कहीं अभी भी पेड़ों की परछाइयाँ थीं।
But the thing that caught my attention the most was this huge cloud sitting right above the mountains. It was so big, white, and fluffy that it honestly looked like a giant ball of cotton. Smaller clouds were slowly moving around it, but this one just stayed there, almost like it was sitting on top of the hills.
लेकिन सबसे ज़्यादा मेरा ध्यान उस एक बड़े से बादल ने खींचा, जो पहाड़ों के ठीक ऊपर ठहरा हुआ था। इतना बड़ा, सफेद और फूला हुआ कि सच में रूई के एक बड़े से ढेर जैसा लग रहा था। उसके आसपास छोटे-छोटे बादल धीरे-धीरे आगे बढ़ रहे थे, लेकिन वो बड़ा वाला बादल वहीं रुका हुआ था, जैसे पहाड़ों के ऊपर बैठा हो।
I stood there for a while just looking at it through the tree branches. After so much rain, everything looked cleaner and sharper, and the whole view felt really peaceful.
मैं कुछ देर पेड़ों की टहनियों के बीच से बस उस नज़ारे को देखती रही। इतनी बारिश के बाद सब कुछ इतना साफ और अलग लग रहा था, और पूरा माहौल बहुत शांत था।
Sometimes, you don’t really need to go anywhere. You just need to look outside at the right moment.
कभी-कभी कहीं जाने की ज़रूरत नहीं होती। बस सही समय पर खिड़की से बाहर देखना होता है।
