¡Hola a todos por acá en esta gran comunidad! Siempre que hacemos algunos proyectos de costura van quedando retazos, y son muy útiles a la hora de emprender cualquier idea. Hace unos meses compré unos lindos vestidos para mis hijas a buen precio, pero estos vestidos les quedaban largos, eran de estilo playero.

Hello to everyone here in this great community! Whenever we do some sewing projects there are always scraps left over, and they are very useful when it comes to undertake any idea. A few months ago I bought some nice dresses for my daughters at a good price, but these dresses were long, they were beach style.

Ellas me pidieron se los cortara a su medida. Estos vestidos eran en capas de tela, así que no corté mucho sino que fui quitando las capas hasta lograr el largo deseado. Y entonces quedaron algunas tiras largas.

They asked me to cut them to their measurements. These dresses were in layers of fabric, so I didn't cut too much, I just removed the layers until I got the desired length. And then there were some long strips left.

Estas telas son muy ligeras y frescas, así que con ellas le hice una hermosa camisa de tiros y te cuento como la elaboré, aprovechando al máximo estas piezas.

These fabrics are very light and fresh, so with them I made a beautiful shirt and I'll tell you how I made it, making the most of these pieces.

Materiales:

Retazo de tela
Hilo, aguja
Tijera.

Proceso de Elaboración:

Primero medí el busto de mi hija, este estaba en 80 cm, pero agregué más centímetros a la hora de cortar, para la costura y que le quedara un poco holgado y se pueda fruncir.

Elaboration process:

First I measured my daughter's bust, this was at 80 cm, but I added more centimeters when cutting, for the seam so that it would be a little loose and could be gathered.

Después de tener tres retazos iguales de largo, los fui cosiendo a máquina con costura recta, aproveché la costura en zic -zac anterior para que no se deshilache la tela. Y le hice una costura por el derecho.

After having three equal length pieces, I sewed them by machine with a straight seam, taking advantage of the previous zic-zac seam so that the fabric would not fray. And I sewed a seam on the right side.

Después corté los sobrantes, doble en la parte superior un borde para introducir la tira para fruncir. Y bordé un ojal por donde se verá y hará el lazo de ajuste.

Then I cut off the excess, folded an edge at the top to insert the gathers. And I embroidered an eyelet where it will be seen and will make the adjustment loop.

Además de esto, la tela alcanzó para hacer las tiras que sostendrán la blusa, y la tira para fruncir, pues no le coloqué elástico.

In addition to this, the fabric was enough to make the strips that will hold the blouse, and the gathering strip, since I did not use elastic.

Con estos simples pasos, aprovechas de hacer una pieza útil para estar en casa, o ir a la playa, a mi hija le gusta, pues son frescas para esos días de calor. Espero te haya gustado.

With these simple steps, you can make a useful piece to be at home, or go to the beach, my daughter likes them, because they are cool for those hot days. I hope you liked it.

En esta tela te cuento aproveché los dobladillos ya hechos, y los puse al final, de esta manera no gasté tanto tiempo y material, solo uní las partes necesarias y dio como resultado algo hermoso.

In this fabric I took advantage of the hems already made, and I put them at the end, this way I did not spend so much time and material, I only joined the necessary parts and the result was something beautiful.
