It seems the rainy season is finally here, and honestly, I do not feel fully ready for it yet. Part of me is hoping it will not turn into a difficult season, but at the same time, I know there is a good chance that it will bring a lot of interruptions, adjustments, and inconvenience. Still, whether I am ready or not, the season has arrived, and the only thing left to do is adapt.

That is exactly what I tried to do today.

Even with the rain changing the mood of the day, I still managed to take some photos. They are not the kind of close-up nature shots I usually enjoy taking, and they are definitely different from what I am used to. Instead of flowers, leaves, and textures in the garden, today I found myself drawn to wet roads, puddles, painted lines, and small reflective surfaces shaped by the rain. In black and white, even these ordinary street details carried a certain character. The moisture on the ground, the rough texture of the pavement, and the contrast between light and dark still gave me something interesting to work with.

I guess that is also the thought I want to share today. Life does not always allow us to do things the way we prefer. Sometimes the season changes, the mood shifts, and the usual routine becomes impossible to follow. In moments like that, maybe the goal is not to force everything to stay the same. Maybe the better response is to adjust, to look for another way, and to keep moving with what is available.

Today may not have looked the way I wanted, but what matters is that I still made it happen. And sometimes, that alone is already a small win.

Have a good day ahead.
