It’s cherry blossom season in Japan. There’s such excitement in the air. Many go out to see the beautiful flowers and enjoy treats made with the leaves or blossoms.
Sakura Chiffon Cake and Lemon Tea
I recently had Sakura chiffon cake. It was soft and fluffy. The cake was topped with cherry blossom pickles. They were salty and went well with the whip cream that was served. The cake itself paired well with some warm lemon tea. Kudos to the cafe. They had great menu items.
