Wow, now we have the privilege to enjoy the authentic japanese taiwan mazesoba without flying to Japan! It's a hit in Japan. This is a Japanese chain restaurant that famous for its taiwan mazesoba, it has over 50 stores in Japan. There is only one in Malaysia.
The specialty here is Taiwan Mazesoba. What is Taiwan Mazesoba? Taiwan Mazesoba is actually a dry noodles dish, idea originated from Taiwan Ramen which is served with soup. Mazesoba is not served with typical soup but with sticky sauce, spicy minced meat and some toppings with little bit of spiciness. The toppings include raw egg yolk, seaweed, lettuce, spring onion, minced garlic, ajitama (soft boiled egg) and slices of meat.

FYI, Taiwan Ramen is not originated from Taiwan but it is created by a Taiwanese chef in Nagoya, so it is local cuisine in Japan.
This is what I ordered, Nagoya Mazesoba DX (Large) in special menu.
Every piece in the bowl is so delicious. The braised soy sauce egg is fantastic! The slices of pork taste tender and juicy. (I am drooling at this hour...)

This is the instructions on how to eat mazesoba.

Add a few drops of signature vinegar when you have finished half of the noodles to taste the changes.
This is one of the chefs who prepared the meals! They are so passionate and meticulous in preparing the food! I was amazed by their spirit! See the serious look:D
He: I must keep the quality of my food! (cook the pork slices with blowtorch)
The place is always crowded. The price is a bit pricey compared to the portion but it's worth to try at least once. I believe they do their best for every piece they put in the bowl. PS: Free drinking water is provided.
