You all know me, and know that I love an amazing selfie. Some pictures are well put together and maybe even at an amazing location. Every picture seems to have a story, and is always something to share. This is a perfect opportunity for my "Appics" post of the day!
Here in Northern Michigan we haven't seen the sun in over two weeks. It has been grey and cloud covered. Not a gloomy kind of grey, but just over cast. So whether it has been a bit of rain or a bit of snow, there is always something going on.
You never really notice that the sun is gone until it comes back. We get so used to living in the grey we just keep going, business as usual. Not today!
I was out in the shop starting my latest knife build which I am calling The Brother Build. It is two knives that are going to a couple of brothers. I am going to try to make them pretty similar with just some minor color differences. That's when I noticed the beautiful sun was shining and looking pretty warm.
I took a minute to step out into the driveway to take in the sun light, and dog gone..it renewed my soul. Stacie D (
I suppose when an opportunity for an adventure comes along, even a small one, we all have to remember to take full advantage!
