I used my Sunwing to grab energy cells and drop them onto a Thunderjaw. After activated cells stunned the target, I landed critical strikes on the ground before flying away to fetch more cells. Through repeated aerial drops and direct melee follow-ups, I successfully destroyed the huge machine.

I flew high above the area on my Sunwing, searching for a tactical way to tackle the giant machines below. A massive Thunderjaw moved across the terrain, oblivious to my presence above.
Instead of engaging directly on foot from the start, I decided to grab an energy cell from the nearby source to deal massive initial damage.
I flew over the site, dropped the energy cell right onto the target zone, and immediately dismounted from my Sunwing.
As the energy cell hit the ground and activated, it created a massive shock wave that caught the machines off guard.
I landed close behind the stunned Thunderjaw and landed a heavy critical strike right into its vulnerable points.
The initial hit dealt severe damage, but the attack alerted every machine nearby. Knowing I could easily be overwhelmed on the ground, I quickly called my Sunwing, grappled back onto its back, and soared into the sky to escape incoming attacks.
Once safely back in the air, I circled around to collect another energy cell. The machines below stayed on high alert, searching the immediate area for me. I navigated my Sunwing back over the encounter site and prepared for a second bomb drop.
I dropped the second energy cell directly onto the Thunderjaw once again. This time, however, the cell did not detonate instantly while I was still descending. It was activated only after I reached ground level because my dive was so fast.
I landed near the machine and pressed the advantage, executed a silent strike before following up with rapid melee swings. The Thunderjaw swung back aggressively and unleashed a spray of machine gun fire. The bullets hit close, even striking my Sunwing as it hovered nearby.
With the machine fully focused on me, I called my mount, grappled briefly to dodge a dangerous attack.
I tried the same strategy once more. Went for another energy cell as the Thunderjaw still had handful of energy left in it and after dropping it off, I jumped off my mount and did another critical strike on the machine.
I closed the distance and kept up the pressure with precise weapon hits and physical strikes. The Thunderjaw thrashed around in anger, but I dodged through its massive tail sweeps and counterattacks. I kept striking its weak components until the massive machine finally collapsed to the ground.
