I spotted a survey drone while flying, landed my Sunwing to grapple up pillars and trees. I leaped onto the drone in heavy rain, brought it down to collect its data. Re-mounting my Sunwing, I investigated a Fireclaw site, narrowly escaping a fierce ambush of flaming rocks and Burrowers.
I was just flying around the region enjoying the view, which was always fun, when I suddenly noticed a glowing survey drone floating through the dense forest. I decided to intercept the machine and figure out a way to interact with it.
Landing my Sunwing safely on the ground level, I approached the nearby ruins and climbed up a tall stone pillar using my grappling rope. I then navigated across to the branches of some nearby trees in the exact same way to secure a higher vantage point.
After successfully reaching the specific spot from where I planned to jump on top of the target, I had to stop and wait patiently because the survey drone was currently on the far side of its automated flight path and not close by yet.
Once the drone finally completed its loop and came back to survey the exact spot where I was waiting, I timed my movement perfectly and jumped out into the heavy rain to grab hold of it.
I was incredibly glad to successfully capture the drone on my very first attempt. The moment Aloy grabbed hold, her physical weight immediately began pulling the floating drone down toward the forest floor.
After grounding the drone completely, I accessed its internal components and collected the valuable data module it had been recording all this time. With the task finished, I called my Sunwing back to leave the place behind.
I was flying around the wider area next when my map indicated I had reached a known Fireclaw site. Looking down from above, all I could initially see scattered across the dirt were the remains of several fallen machines, prompting me to get closer to the ground level to investigate.
Right when I neared the muddy ground, a massive Fireclaw suddenly appeared alongside a pack of aggressive Burrowers, and the entire group started attacking me all at once. The sudden ambush even managed to deal some direct damage to my Sunwing as I scrambled to react.
I attempted to get closer to the Fireclaw anyway to capture some high-quality photos of the dangerous beast in action. However, the aggressive machine kept tearing up the ground and throwing massive rocks covered in burning flame toward my position, forcing me to abandon the photo setup and escape the area real fast.
The next post will be coming soon. Screenshots are my take from the game and I took the game logo that I used on the thumbnail picture from online.
SEE YOU.
