Tracking machine wreckage upstream, we followed a blood trail to rescue the missing squad from aggressive Fire Clamberjaws. With the squad sent back, we climbed the rot-scented waterfalls toward a mountain rebel outpost, pausing near the summit to avoid detection by a massive guerilla-like machine.
We started following the river upstream while finding more machine carcasses on our way, and then I stopped there to check on the waterfall of poison waters, watching the deep blue sludge pour over the rock face into the basin below.
Then we reached another machine carcass, and after examining it, Aloy understood someone barely walked away from this fight. And I noticed there were bloodstains on the way, gave me tracks.
And after following it, we found the missing squad fighting more machines ahead, trapped against the canyon wall.
I joined the fight, and it looked like these machines were not the regular ones I fought before, and they were Fire Clamberjaws. I helped the squad taking the machines down.
Atekka then asked the squad to head back to their camp, while she would find their way up the river, along with Aloy. They noticed there could be a rebel camp up above the mountain, looking up at the heavily fortified wooden scaffolding looming over the peak.
As we had to find a way up, I started climbing up while Atekka kept following me, searching the jagged cliffside for secure handholds that could support our weight.
It looked like we had to climb up the falls. So without wasting time, I started climbing up while Atekka kept following me. And Aloy mentioning the water smells like rot, when Atekka advised her to live with that.
Then after reaching close to the summit of the mountain, I had to stop there, as we were exposed there, because there was a big guerilla-like machine checking around that ledge. Its heavy metallic limbs were shaking the loose gravel as it patrolled.
After stopping there for a moment and checking on the machine through the photo mode, we noticed the machine went back into the camp and gave us a way to climb up, knowing we're gonna have to fight that thing.
