It looks like @traisto has become a big fan of the #wednesdaywalk challenge, created by
@tattoodjay and she had the idea to do both a post about the same walk. So we took our cameras and our dog and hit the road! We have even promised not to look to each others pictures before we upload them so I am as curious as you might be about how different or similar the results will be. My experience tells me that it is very unlike for two photographers to take the same pictures during a walk but then again Fotini is my student (in photography) and we live together for so many years that we tend to become alike :)
Of we go! We drove a bit away from the village so that we don't do the same dog-walk that we do every day and started from there! Our path is the old national road which is nothing more than a dirty road that can barely fit two cars side by side but it is great for walking. Anyway we very rarely see a car on this road and when we do is usually a farmer that we know.
What I like most in this route is the amazing view. The mountain is so steep and walking on the edge almost feels like flying! And the new road is so much lower that the cars look like little toys. As you can see the new road is not so much bigger than the old one but it is definitely smoother :)
I couldn't avoid taking a few flowers shots. Actually I took a lot more but I restrained myself to keep this post on the walking aspect of our day. Nevertheless I'll share a couple of them just for decorative reasons!
This is as far as I have gone. The other two of our little company moved on a bit more while I was taking a couple of dozens pictures to stitch a panorama of the scenery. In the last picture you can see @traisto far away heading for the exclusive image. I wonder what would that be :)
Edit: You can read her post here.
All the pictures and the words are mine.
Thank you for reading and if you want to know more about me you can check out my introduction post.
