The morning sun was once again brilliant, teasing me to take a few pictures. And once again I was walking without a camera. But as someone told me the other day, holding the leash of a dog in one hand and a camera in the other, is not always easy. And I have to second that.
But I always have a phone in my pocket and since many of you seemed to like the pictures that I took the last time I used it, I took my chances and dived into the comfort and imperfection of phone photography :)
The scenery is familiar, one of the 3-4 routes that I usually take in my daily walks. It should be familiar for you too by now, so many times that I have shared those walks :)
The pedestrian road along the coastline, the port, the old town, the castle. That's the ingredients of my microcosm and the the usual subjects of my photography for the last year that I am around here!
But this time it was the park that drew most of my attention. Can you blame me?
With all the spring blooms and the most amazing morning sun, how could I resist?
I like morning walks. The town is so peaceful and with the temperature already rising in summerish levels, much more pleasant than noon.
Our dog Marcos, disagree though since he usually misses his friends if we are out too early but today we met a neighbour with his dog and we all returned home content :)
I believe that this is the first post that I share here, fully made with my phone.
Six years ago, when I first joined, I strongly believed that phones are meant to be used only to make phonecalls, their cameras are rubbish and it is embarrassing for a photographer to use them and writing on such a small screen is only for teenagers!
But today it was either this or no post at all. And that's how I found myself reconsidering and adopting the exact opposite!
I guess you can teach new tricks to an old dog after all :)
