Motorcycle journalism will never be the same! Our team of two-wheeled enthusiasts is jumping the Steemit train to bring you a new breed of moto content. What’s wrong with the old stuff? A lot...
How we will use Steemi:
Starting today, our blog lives here. Each FortNine video will be accompanied by a full writeup and photo album just for Steemit. We’re changing moto journalism and Steemit is changing social media - it’s a match made for the blockchain.
About the Team
Ryan, better known by his alter ego(maniac) “RyanF9,” is a storyteller and accidental moto journalist. Coming from the sexed-up world of Theoretical Physics, Ryan’s dream was to make “stuff that isn’t boring.” A brief career in freelance pushed him towards “writing that isn’t boring,” followed shortly by “videos that aren’t boring.” His childhood passion for everything dangerous lit up when FortNine asked him to make moto content. Et voila.
Aneesh, also known as “TheGuyBehindTheCameraF9,” is a cinematographer & editor who shoots what he’s passionate about - motorcycles, narrative content and travel. Maybe cats as well, soon ‘nuff. After an earlier near-death experience studying computer engineering, he decided to pull the handbrake on life and drifted sideways into a magazine as an automotive photographer/journalist. And so it began. Many years later, with film school in the bag, he’s back shooting motorcycles and repeatedly making silly puns about his name.
About FortNine
FortNine is Canada’s largest online retailer of powersport merchandise. In 2016, FortNine started a YouTube channel to publish gear reviews, how-to videos and short films. Due to the channel’s success, a media branch splintered from the FortNine tree. Steemit contributions go directly to the media company.
