A sporty cheat day... my training diary entry from October 3 2026
(This photo was taken yesterday during our run. You can clearly see that autumn has already arrived.)
Hi Actifitters,
as planned, I went out into the fresh air with my wife yesterday to get some exercise together. It was a mix of jogging and walking. Since my wife hadn't exercised for quite a while, the pace and intensity were moderate. But that didn't matter; the main thing was that we had a good time together.
Here are a few figures regarding our activity:
Duration - 2:41:27
Average pace - 11:39 / km
Average heart rate - 115 bpm
Max. heart rate - 155 bpm
Calories - 1080
For me, it was the first time going for a run since my tennis injury. Admittedly, it still doesn't feel quite the same as it did before the injury, but at least I can run pain-free again.
Mission 80 (Day 97 = 87.5 kg / Goal = 80.0 kg / Initial weight = 90.0 kg / Total loss = 2.5 kg)
So much for the topic of exercise. Let’s move on to yesterday’s diet. The fact is, last night completely undid all my progress regarding weight. My godmother and uncle were visiting again, and we went out for Greek food. There was no holding back; I stuffed myself and could barely move afterwards. The ouzo and beer didn't help matters, either. Later, we played some games at home, accompanied by a few more beers and some chocolate. Even without counting the calories, it’s pretty clear I didn’t run a deficit. ;)
So, it’s not surprising that I weighed more than yesterday. However, I hadn’t expected it to be quite that much more. Oh well, I’ll try to be disciplined without exception this coming week.
Since I’m slightly hungover, I won’t be able to push myself too hard today. Still, I need to pay the price, so I’ll soon slip into my cycling shorts, hop in the saddle, and burn a few calories.
