On my #hiking trip to the #Grossglockner here in #Austria last week i was able to take some nice pictures of #marmots that where figthing for power in their clan. It was very nice to watch and i think i did manage to get some pretty nice pictures from them. We waited on a meaddow near a hut and the marmottes where not bothered by us. They came pretty close and begged for food but we didn't gave them anything. Unfortunately there are a lot of people feeding the marmots on Grossglockner. Some are good and use carrots and apples for the marmots but others feed chips, chocolate and whatever they find to the marmots and i got a bit angry when i saw an adult person feed the marmots with a chocolate bar.

We found a nice place a bit away from all the trouble and took several nice pictures. They came pretty close so it was easy to get some nice shots even without feeding them. After a while they didn't notice us anymore and where doing their own thing. Most of the time eating some grass or fighting with each other. The fights where really spectacualr and i was proud to take some nice action pictures of them.
