Saludos y Bendiciones.

Hello, dear@hivemargarita community! I’m stopping by to say hello and hope you’re having a great week.
On the recent Day of the Virgin of the Valley—such a beautiful and deeply devotional day for all of us who love this island—we decided to go out for a drive in the morning. We wanted to enjoy the festive atmosphere and the sea breeze, so we hopped in the car and ended up taking a spectacular route. We visited several of our favorite beaches, passing through Pampatar, then stopping at Bayside Beach, continuing on to La Caracola Beach, and ending our trip at the wonderful Concorde Beach.
Although the entire walk was wonderful, when we passed by La Caracola Beach, I found myself gazing at the place and remembering why this coastline is so important and special to us. This beach is the true heart of outdoor well-being in Porlamar—the perfect spot for athletes to either start their day full of energy or end it by releasing the stress of work.
The most wonderful thing about La Caracola is that the authorities close the avenue to vehicle traffic at specific times (very early in the morning and in the late afternoon) to transform it into a completely pedestrian-only space. Thanks to this, people can safely take over the public thoroughfare to walk, ride a bike, ride a skateboard, jog, or walk their pets with the ocean right beside them.
As we drove along, enjoying the view from the car window, I mentioned to my family something that has always caught my attention. In my opinion, the sand at La Caracola is very different from that of other beaches on Margarita. It feels much sandier, with a firm, coarse, and grainy texture. It’s not one of those ultra-fine sands where you sink as you walk, but rather a much rougher and more compact surface—which perfectly explains why it’s so popular and comfortable for those who work out there.
Even though it has strong waves and isn’t your typical beach for spending the whole day swimming, seeing it up close on that holiday was an incredible experience. This beach definitely surprises us—you can find it bustling with life and energy at 6:00 a.m. or 5:30 p.m., with dogs running around and athletes giving it their all, yet if you stop by at noon, it turns into a lonely desert under the Margarita sun.
It’s truly incredible how the same beach offers two completely different experiences. Well, friends, I hope you enjoyed my post. Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment. Greetings and blessings.
