My dear #Hivertravel

As always, it's a pleasure to show you a little bit of my travels and places we can visit somewhere in the world.

With this place, I tell you that I wasn't looking for it. I was looking for a church because it was the day of a catholic celebration.

Walking in the historic centre of Cartagena (the walled city) is very easy because everything is signposted or the people, seeing that you are a tourist, show you where you want to go, so it is very easy to find your way around.

Cartagena is wonderful, every corner is full of history, culture, tradition and lots and lots of Caribbean flavour.

This is accompanied by the hot sun, the music, the colourful dresses and the street vendors who are always asking "if you want a hat".

So how come this unique place is there? Well yes; KGB is the Russian Koofee Gallery Bar located on the corner of Fernandez in Madrid Park.

It's quaint colour could be mistaken for just another bar/cafe in the square. But no, when it is detailed, it is almost immediately apparent that something is different about it all.

I was thinking of just passing by (because remember I was looking for the church), but it is inevitable not to stop and look at its details.

You are greeted by an aviatrix, or aviator suit with her breathing mask that I don't even know how to decipher because you probably know more about it than I do. But, I had only seen it in the movies or maybe on the internet, but it was there! At the access of everything.

I loved this picture 💞// Amé está fotografía 😍.

Now, at the gate, there is nothing left to do but enter the KGB.

I didn't know I knew so many details about the Russians:

They have everything!

It's a museum in the heart of Cartagena. How did it all get there? No idea, but it would take half a day to see every detail. The place is made like a submarine, that is to say, when you enter, you feel like you need an oxygen tank because its structure transports you directly to that scenario 🤭.

Among so much well elaborated detail, I was able to identify the traditional Matrioshka; Russian characteristic handicraft. Pictures of the president of Russia, of the leaders Stalin and Lenin, coins, wartime clothing such as hats, canteens, backpacks, caps, diplomas, badges... I lost my eyes among so much detail!

So here they are. Try to find out if you recognise any of the items shown:

The mannequins, they looked like people heh,heh.... They scared me a little bit.

We can also see a lot of military armaments and things, because we know that a lot of Russian history is linked with the war.

As for what you can buy there, they sell very tasty coffee, lemonade or cold drinks for so much hot and of course, Russian beers which are a bit more expensive than the Colombian ones, but being there, it's good to treat yourself and try them. My choice was a black Baltika.

The service is very pleasant, the tables are original sewing machine tables, you can buy some souvenirs (although I didn't want anything with the faces of those gentlemen on it). Overall, the café is very complete.
