We visited a “retirement home” this evening as we are hoping an elderly relative will agree to live there. It was a beautiful flat with spacious communal areas and a three-acre landscaped garden. I would happily live there if I need supported accommodation in old age.
Unfortunately this elderly relative is a hoarder with mobility issues, an addiction to buying rare stamps and he is saddled with debts. We want to help but he is so attached to his stamps, he is prepared to risk his health and his life 😫
As they say, you can take a horse to water but you can’t force it to drink! 🐴
