In 1926, a doctor wrote in his diary.
He wrote that when the number 26 comes again on the calendar (2026), neither I will be here nor you.
And he also wrote, I wish my life could wait that long, so I could see the people of 2026, see the world of 2026, but I know it's not possible, by then even our graves will be unknown.
Sahir Ludhianvi, when he was on his deathbed, told his doctor with open eyes,
"Doctor, I want to live.
Life has given me sorrows but this world is a beautiful place.
There are gatherings of friends here, there is noise of life here.
I want to live doctor, fully."
Now think, when 2126 comes and the number 26 comes again, none of us will be here. Our graves will be lost somewhere in the crowd of the graveyard, some broken, some buried.
We have come to live in this world only once. We should try to live our own life happily and let others live their life too. So let's try to make this short stay pleasant. Let there be no soul that goes with a wound because of us and the blame of that wound is on us.
