What if Benches could talk

Benchy 1.JPG

I am a Beach Bench and I shall remain nameless
I've seen so many arses I have become shameless
I could tell you a story or two
Three or four, maybe more
But then I would no longer be close to the shore

Benchy 2.JPG

So many laughs, wails, and washed up sails
I hope someone brushes off these sandy-sea-snails
It could hurt a sitter
Hope it's not a hitter
Nobody wants to be hit in the .......

Being close to the shore gives me more
More than ever before
People sit here to pause their lives
To wash away the trouble and strife

Benchy 4.JPG

Benches are places for freedom
They allow us both escapism
I hope I can stay here for life

Thanks for taking the time to read this poem.
