An end to the slaughterhouse is nigh

De Vegetarische Slager is a company that is literally changing the world with its ground breaking products that offer an alternative to the conventional meat product as we know it today. They offer a multitude of different meat substitutes, such as a range of sausages, bacon bits, chicken, red meat, and not one animal's meat is used in any of their ranges. I am a huge fan of this company and it's relatively new, but it has uplifted the vegetarian section in every supermarket it's stocked in, and to be honest, I've seen an improvement across the board in all supermarkets, where it's evident that they see the emerging meat-free market is something that cannot be ignored. So, I'll take you through each of the products on offer, starting with the good old British Sausage, the aptly named Little Willies.

Let's get cooking!

As you can clearly see, they look like sausages made from meat and they even weirdly smell like meat, but the herbs are really pushing through, a nasal disco would be my analogy. You might be able to tell what my next post will cover, yes, even sausage rolls are on offer.

All done

These delicious Little Willies are ready now, and I'd tried to give you a close-up so you can see how close to the conventional sausage this gets, you couldn't tell the difference. Check out this quote from the Independent Newspaper, they could be onto something, I most certainly hope so.
