yesterday was Saturday. When I reached duty in the morning, first the eyes fell on the papers and reports scattered in the cupboard. Before starting work in the hospital, it was understood that today would not be easy. I slowly arranged all files and paper. Every patient's report and discharge slip placed in its right place. To be honest, this little work gave some peace in the morning run.
I also made a well in the ward to the cupboard of medicines and medical items. IV Fluids, Injections, Bandages and Syringes were arranged by placing them all in different places. I like this part of nursing the most-when everything looks clean and systematic, then it starts to work.
I went to the canteen as soon as the afternoon. Seeing lentils, rice, vegetables, raita and sweet in the plate, the fatigue of the day was half the same. The taste was simple but both the stomach and the heart were relaxed.
By evening, when I was returning home after the care of patients and when I was returning home, the scene was completely different. On the roadside, a baby girl was showing the game by making balance with the help of rope and bamboo. People were stopping and watching it and playing applause. His confidence and balance were really comfortable. But at the same time it also realized that this age should be of books and sports, not to show stunts on the streets. There was happiness somewhere in that moment and somewhere worried.
The day-long experiences again reminded me that life teaches us in different forms every moment. The responsibilities of the hospital, the care of the patients and then the innocent hard work of this girl outside - all made the day special.
