A few days ago, I was able to take a trip to the specialist hospital to have an examination. While at the hospital I took note of things I normally would have missed, at first glance. It was still early in the morning, there were no busy areas and minimal people at the hospital at the time; it was peaceful and seemed calm and settled.
I’m a person who doesn't really fancy taking photos, even in the most suitable environments, I won't try it because I always believe they won't come out good. However that day, due to the beauty of the environment that I was in, I decided to take out my phone, and snap some photos here and there.
The first shot I took was right at the entrance, which captured the sign of the hospital next to the roadside and the few people who were passing, a motorbike going inside the hospital, and a single person walking towards the road. So there wasn't anything in the photo besides a sense of movement, while everything else was peaceful. As I walked further inside the hospital, I took another shot, of a very long road in the hospital with hardly any person or cars as at the time of day and trees casting light shadows on the ground that made the hospital seem very calm and cool.
Not long from there, I took another shot facing the front of one of the main buildings at the specialist hospital, with the perfectly aligned lawn in front and a lot of tall trees, a tranquil scene that complemented the tranquil environment. I noticed at one side of the roadside there was a head of a soldier statue, and was later informed it may have been the founder of the hospital; I took a picture of the monument, as it really seemed as though it were watching over and welcoming those passing by.
As the morning began to get stronger in the light of the sun, I entered a long, roofed walkway that leads towards the main sections of the hospital, I took a photo and managed to capture how long it stretched, a very convenient protection against the sun. Further inside I managed to get into a long corridor that was quite empty at the time and I noticed a girl walking in front of me, and without causing any disturbances, I took a photo from behind to capture the stretch of the corridor.
After leaving the hospital, and checking out the pictures I took, I noticed they were not good enough for presentation, however, I gave myself some credit for even taken a shot at it. Looking through the shots provided me with a sense of the morning, from the entry into the quiet hospital, to the peaceful road, to the building, to the monument standing beside it, the pathway and even the small human connection in the corridor, that although, not as good as others. It captured everything just as I experienced it.
