Hello friends of Hive, today I was finally able to finish building a desktop PC so that I could work better yua than I used to do on a laptop. My previous PC burned due to a blackout that occurred in my city, if you are from Venezuela you will know what I mean. With a lot of effort I was buying what was necessary, among those things I bought some second-hand since buying them new is very expensive. In this way, I can build a modest PC that can be used for my tasks in Hive. Next I will tell you how it was part of the process.
Holas amigos de Hive, hoy por fin pude terminar de armar una PC de escritorio para pode trabajar mejor yua que antes lo hacía en una laptop. Mi anterior PC se quemó producto de un apagón que hubo en mi ciudad, si eres de Venezuela sabrás a lo que me refiero. Con mucho esfuerzo fui comprando lo necesario, entre esas cosas compré algunas de segunda mano ya que comprarlas nuevas es muy costoso. De esta manera puder armar una PC modesta que me sirva para mis tareas en Hive. A continuación les contaré como fue parte del proceso.
Previously, gathering part of my rewards at Hive I was able to buy a motherboard, RAM, and a hard drive. The board is DDR2 a BIOSTAR G31, the RAM memories are 1 GB each and the hard disk is 320 GB. I bought the motherboard and the memories used because the current price in Venezuela is high if I buy them new without using, the hard disk if it was more accessible and I bought it new.
Anteriormente reuniendo part de mis recompensas en Hive pude comprar una placa madre, las memorias RAM, y un disco duro. La placa es DDR2 una BIOSTAR G31, las memorias RAM son de 1 GB cada una y el disco duro es de 320 GB. La placa madre y las memorias las compré usada porque el precio actual en Venezuela es elevado si las compro nuevas sin usar, el disco duro si fue más accesible y lo compré nuevo.
This is the damaged power supply whose circuitry damaged the old board, rendering it useless. I uncapped LA to see how it was and found bad fuses and capacitors. Also the plate on the inside was burned, it was useless.
Esta es la fuente de poder dañada y cuyo circuitos me dañó la placa anterior dejándola inservible. LA destapé para ver como estaba y encontré fusibles y condensadores dañados. Tambien la placa por la parte interna estaba quemada, quedó inservible.
So all I had to do was buy a new power source, with the last power down I did I was able to get the funds to buy it. I bought a modest source of 550 watts of power, in its sealed box. You can see the labels the date of purchase. Then I started to install it to get the PC working.
Así que solo em faltaba comprar una fuente de poder nueva, con el último power down que hice pude obtener los fondos para adquirirla. Compré una fuente modesta de 550 wats de potencia, en su caja sellada. Pueden observar las etiquetas la fecha de compra. Luego me dispuse a instalarla para poner a funcionar la PC.
The process to install it was as follows: First I put the power supply in its corresponding place inside the case, fixed with its screws. Then each cable in its corresponding place. First the 24-pin main cable placed on the white jumper, well adjusted, making sure that the safety button clicked. Then the cable that sends power to the hard drive, and then the last connection that provides power to the fan cooler. This way you already turn on the PC. We check one last time that everything is clean and in order.
El proceso para instalarla fue el siguiente: Primeto puse la fuente de poder en su lugar correspondiente dentro del case fijada con sus tornillos. Después cada cable en su lugar correspondiente. Primero el cable principal de 24 pines colocado en el puente de color blanco, bien ajustado, asegurándome que el botón de seguridad sonara. Luego el cable que envía energía al disco duro, y después la última conección que brinda energía al fan cooler. De esta manera ya enciende la PC. Revisamos una última vez que todo esté limpio y órden.
Finally I also bought this wireless PCI network card, we look for the corresponding installation port and press until it is well fixed. Then we just need to put the lid and seal the case so that the PC turns on.
Por último también compré esta tarjeta de red PCI inalámbrica, buscamos el puerto de instalación correspondiente y presionamos hasta que quede bien fijada. Luego solo nos faltaría poner la tapa y sellar el case para que la PC encienda.
Once I put the lid on and sealed the PC I installed it with the monitor, I hit the power button and it worked perfectly. It is not a powerful PC but it is what I need, it represents the sacrifice of many months working under conditions that were not at all favorable, this publication was made from the new PC and it is a big difference. The feeling of having achieved something that I longed for and needed is refreshing, it encourages me to continue working on my publications and improving every day in this great community that has allowed me to achieve so many things. Una vez que le puse la tapa y sellé la PC la instale con el monitor, apreté el botón de encendio y funcioó perfectamente. No es una PC potente pero es lo que necesito, representa el sacrificio de muchos meses trabajando bajo condiciones que no eran nada favorables, esta publicación la realizo desde la PC nueva y es gran de la diferencia. El sentimiento de haber logrado algo que anhelaba y necesitaba es refrescante, me anima a seguir trabajando en mis publicaciones y mejorando cada día en esta gran comunidad que me ha permitido lograr tantas cosas.
