Regret Buying Salted Caramel Macchiato From Kopi Kenangan (My First Time In Kopi Kenangan)

Another coffee shop review from me in this post.
This time i want to share a review of a coffee shop which is Kopi Kenangan.
First, lets talk about their name.
Kopi means coffee in english.
Kenangan means memory in english.
So kopi kenangan basically means Memory Coffee.
Such a strange yet intriguing name for me, i always had a weak spot with anything related to memory.
Seems like the owner of this coffee shop is quite a sentimental person too.
So, where is this coffee shop located?
Kopi Kenangan spread to the whole country especially in big city.
They have a lot of stores in Medan too.
But in this post, i will not be talking about the Kopi Kenangan in my city, but its in the Jakarta.
Not only i visit Kopi Kenangan coffee shop in Jakarta, this also gonna be my first time to try Kopi Kenangan ever.
Why do i try Kopi Kenangan for the first time in Jakarta?
Because i dont like coffee and they mainly focused on coffee drink, not only that, i just never had the interest to that.

This Kopi Kenangan located in Lippo Mall in West Jakarta.
I went there because its the closest mall near my hotel.
I actually doesnt want to go to the mall, but i was so bored in my hotel room that i decide that i really need to go out a bit to take a breather.
The distance between my hotel and the mall is only 1 km.
Probably 10 minutes by walking so its pretty close for me.
But when i went out, wow im so surprised.
My hotel is right in front of highway, so there’s no way possible that i can walk in that kind of road situation.
It seems like i choose the wrong hotel to stay.
I am someone that love to walking around in evening.
But the hotel where i stayed made it impossible to do.
Then i took a grab to go to the mall.
And that Lippo Mall plaza is the only big mall nearest from my hotel.
The grab car cost me 20.000 idr.
So its pretty surprised at how pricey it is.
For only 1 km distance i need to pay 20.000 idr for the grab.
The shop is doesnt really have space for customers to sit and hang out.
They space where people can sit in there is probably for people that waiting for their orders only and not for sitting for a long time.
But i decided to just sitting while waiting because i dont feel comfortable sitting in public space in Jakarta.

This is my order, guys.
What i ordered is Salted Caramel Macchiato.
And wowww i dont expect the coffee is so strong.
Usually when i ordered Macchiato in Koi, i will get this foam sweet thing that taste very good.
But apparently i am someone that doesnt know anything about coffee since i dont know salted caramel macchiato means like or even what macchiato is.
So i ended up mixed my drink up with a lot of peach drinks so i can bare finished the drink.
Its so bitter for my taste and actually doesnt taste good at all for me.
So, I regret choosing that drink that is so hard for me to buy.
Will i buy it again?
Absolutely no.
But for people that actually enjoyed coffee will like this drink.
I recommend this drink for you coffee lover, guys.
