Whenever I visit my Mom, she gives me fabric from her stash. One gift was 4 yards of this poly-cotton print that makes me feel like I am back in the 70s. Naturally, it wanted to be a maxi dress.
The neckline I cut was a bit wide in the front, so I added some elastic to gather it in. For the ruffle I edged the top and bottom with a narrow serged edge in purple wooly nylon thread. I used my ruffler attachment to do the gathering.
This will be fun to wear next summer with a crocheted shawl. Groovy!
