**Where am I right now in my journey? **Day 915 of my learning streak!
Now that Duolingo gives a number score for every language, it is easier to see my progress. A score of 10 means introducing yourself, 30 means you can order in a restaurant, 50 means you can give directions to a place, 90 is watching a TV show, 110 is communicating at work, etc. Here is where I am:
English: my native language!
German: 66
Italian: 43
Norwegian: 29
Dutch: 19 (leveled up!)
French: 16
Spanish: 13
Russian: 12
Greek: 10
Korean: 10
Portuguese: 10
Polish: 7
Welsh: 6
One of the hardest things about the multiple languages is keeping Norwegian and Dutch spelling distinct from German spelling. Many similar words are spelled very differently.
