Hoy les voy a contar sobre una falla eléctrica que tuve en mi casa con un toma corriente que no tenía corriente. Les cuento que en mi casa en el área de la cocina de quedó sin energía eléctrica producto de un corto eléctrico que hubo y eso hizo que varios toma corrientes no funcionaron bien, así que llame un técnico para que solucionara este problema, bueno el técnico cuando llegó revisó todo y consiguió el corto y volvieron a funcionar todas las cosas pero menos el toma corriente que está en el comedor y pues junto con el revisamos y nada que ver encontró el problema así que el asumió que eso era producto del corto que hubo y posiblemente había que seguir revisando pero como ya era tarde lo dejamos para otro día.

I tell you that in my house in the kitchen area was without power due to an electrical short and that made several outlets did not work well, so I called a technician to solve this problem, well when the technician arrived he checked everything and got the short and all things worked again but except the outlet that is in the dining room and then together with him we checked and nothing to do found the problem so he assumed that this was the product of the short that was and possibly had to continue reviewing but as it was late we left it for another day.

Lo cierto es que pasaron varios días y nada que regreso el técnico pues tenía otros trabajos así que yo mismo volví a revisar y de tanto revisar encontré el problema ¿Cuál era el problema? El toma corriente internamente se había dañado y aunque le llegaba corriente no había contacto cuando se conectaban las electrodomésticos, así que el problema no era un corto eléctrico sino el toma corriente.

The truth is that several days went by and the technician did not return because he had other jobs so I went back to check myself and after so much checking I found the problem. The socket had been damaged internally and although there was no current, there was no contact when the appliances were connected, so the problem was not an electrical short but the socket.

Así que después de haber encontrado el problema tuve que ir a comprar el toma corriente y aunque hay muchos modelos tuve que encontrar uno que sea bueno y también económico o que se ajustara a mi presupuesto y tanto buscar lo conseguí. Un toma corriente tiene que estar bien ajustado pues si al conectar algo queda flojo es posible que no haga un buen contacto y esto termine por ocasionar un problema mayor.

So after finding the problem I had to go to buy the outlet and although there are many models I had to find one that is good and also economical or that fit my budget and so much searching I got it. A socket has to be well adjusted because if when connecting something it is loose it is possible that it does not make a good contact and this ends up causing a bigger problem.

Ahora sí ya todo funciona correctamente y no tengo el riesgo que se salgan las cosas que tengo conectadas pues el toma corriente es de muy buena calidad que por tan solo seis dólares lo pude conseguir, claro hay unos más económicos pero hay que revisar la calidad.
