Many people have already participated on this challenge proposed by theycallmedan@theycallmedan and after seeing daily posts of this huge initiative, I decided to join the fun. There are so many Steemians I could mention here, however, I decided to talk about those that I read more often or engage with constantly. I placed them in alphabetical order but I suppose my closer relationship to some will be evident in the text.

alexaventuria@alexaventuria

Haven’t seen this Steemian around for a while but his posts were very compelling, deep and dared to go into territories not many dare to go unless they treat it from a science fiction perspective.

An example is how he would talk about his dreams and the insights they provided as well as the connections of this physical realm with other dimensions, the alien origins of cryptocurrencies and the quest for equanimity.

Reading his posts I would receive some very pleasant vibes and dive into the rabbit hole of existence. I’m also very grateful because he gave up his tribesteemup@tribesteemup support to hand it over to me, which was noble beyond words.

artemislives@artemislives

I highly admire this woman for the amount of projects she’s able to pull off and also because of the beauty of her work with natural medicine, tinctures, plant ID, and awareness-raising posts. She has been very supportive since my arrival on Steem and has always come through with wise and knowledgable words.

I also love her intuitive way of doing things and how she lets us know about Thai culture and flora.

eco-alex@eco-alex

Together with artemislives@artemislives run the ecotrain@ecotrain account that curates and supports all eco-friendly content. That’s already big but he goes beyond and has been running a “Non-Violent Communication” workshop which I recommend everybody check out because IT’S NOT WHAT YOU THINK. Really, it goes deeper than whatever prejudgement you might have.

I enjoy as well when eco-alex@eco-alex shares some of his esoteric wisdom on some posts from time to time. He’s also in the process of building an eco-village that will use crypto as currency which is very interesting.

hiddenblade@hiddenblade

She’s definitely my favorite visual artist on the blockchain so far. Defiant, provocative, socially aware and with great artistic taste IMHO. Really enjoy her drawings, paintings, photography and the text that accompanies them usually.

Lately, I’ve seen she’s up to doing GIFs with a more experimental approach and they are pretty wicked, love to see when creative people stray into unknown territory.

heart-to-heart@heart-to-heart

I started paying attention to her posts for her beautifully presented, healthy, vegan recipes. She’s an example of how much an eye-catching picture can do for your post as her presentation photos are gorgeous.

She also writes a lot on positivity and if you’re looking someone to cheer you up, give you hope and tell you anything is possible… she’s the one!

johnjgeddes@johnjgeddes

I don’t know much about him, just that he writes awfully well. The kind of writing that once you read the first paragraph you’re hooked to the end. I think it’s the way that he gets to say so much about the characters in very short posts that is most enthralling to my senses.

His writing isn’t complicated or dense but is accurate in delivering profound states of the human psyche. Highly suggested you go and give him a read.

jaynie@jaynie

Ah, the feared and respected leader of the Power House Creatives community. Well, I don’t know if she’s that feared, but she’s definitely worthy of respect as I have witnessed the immense amount of work she does for the community and to help newcomers start getting visibility in the blockchain.

I felt at times she was like the mother of us at Power House Creatives, keeping the house in order so we children could play around and have fun (hope she doesn’t take it the wrong way, lol). She’s also a good writer and a very positive thinker you can look for when a bit down on the mood.

kennyskitchen@kennyskitchen

Only known about his account recently through the #tribesteemup initiative which he begin. What I’ve seen he’s a heavy philosophical writer with solid views on society and where we’re headed. Though I don’t agree on all his ideas, he makes it a point to give references and sources to his claims and that helps if you’re interested on going deeper.

metametheus@metametheus

My favorite Taoist master on the blockchain! If you’re gonna read prepare your mind for a bit of a ride. Sometimes he’s easy to read but hard to grasp for he does not sit in the comfort of absolute truth and rides the waves of uncertainty. If your ailment is single-mindedness and are getting a bit rigid on the thought, go see him for some healing.

I like that he’s a very honest writer and is willing to not only show his best side, but also his downfalls and things he might want to work on.

minismallholding@minismallholding

A Steemian who offers diverse content related to homeschooling, homesteading, natural medicine and thoughts on community. Haven’t had that many interactions but minismallholding@minismallholding has also supported me and curated my posts since the beginning so I’m grateful for that.

missdeli@missdeli

Like heart-to-heart@heart-to-heart, she’s also a healthy foodie. I should add she is a certified nutritionist as well, so if you are looking to eat healthier and informed she’s a good source of information. Her recipes are usually simple but loaded with nutrients so no excuses for changing your diet!

nateonsteemit@nateonsteemit

This guy is an awesome homesteader and the amount of stuff he gets done is amazing. I enjoy his posts a lot and usually feel like “shit, I could be doing so much more with my life, better get my act together”. He’s also a very supportive fellow and a nice person to chat with on Discord. He’s very active in the Natural Medicine community and does a lot to support it.

porters@porters

I first met porters@porters at the Power House Creatives Discord, and later found out she was also into the Natural Medicine community. I consider her a wise person who writes meaningful posts and interesting things to reflect on. I love her pictures and her close connection to Nature. A very supportive person that works a ton for the communities she partakes in.

riverflows@riverflows

Another big leader here on Steem, she’s at the head of the Natural Medicine community. This woman is a beast! I just don’t know where she gets the energy and focus to do all the stuff she does. I mean you can chat a good long while on Discord with her and somehow she manages to write posts, work on her homesteading, make great recipes, organize the Natural Medicine community, talk with other leaders. Seriously riverflows@riverflows, how many arms do you have?!

She also takes the time to support others being very engaging and commenting thoughtfully or with great humor. One of the most inspiring Steemians IMHO.

senorcoconut@senorcoconut

I’ll just quote his own blog description as it is the very reason I am interested in his work:

“Building a neo-tribal village and educational center for self-reliance, permaculture, and the practice of becoming a natural human in today’s society”.

Lots to learn from his experiences on this journey!

slobberchops@slobberchops

An amazing writer with a sharp sense of humor and an honest, witty, descriptive prose. Not only does he write well but he is very active in the different aspects of the community, helping others onboard and adapt to Steem. He was kind of my guide around here and showed me how things work, gave me good advice and has supported my work through this whole time. Big thanks to him for all he does for the community!

taskmaster4450@taskmaster4450

Been following only recently. Mostly admire what a good talker he is and the clarity of his ideas. If you’re ever doubting whether Steem is going to make it big, go see him, he’ll give you some good arguments on why this is a fucking awesome project and you shouldn’t lose hope.

trucklife-family@trucklife-family

What I love most about her is the honesty and transparent writing. She’s a creative person who fights for what she believes in despite the difficulties that present to her. I really like her presence here on the blockchain as it is very human, emotional and authentic. I can relate to many of her experiences and I really like her ideas on how she raises and respects her children.

vincentnijman@vincentnijman

I guess what’s most attractive about this Steemian is his mysticism and overall good vibe, even when he’s having a hard time with a particular issue. He shares a lot of interesting ideas on tuning into your creativity and health. He does so from an honest experiential point of view and that’s good in my book.

whatamidoing@whatamidoing

Before I say anything I just have to say I love this user name, it’s hilarious and mysterious. That’s the question I usually ask myself when my optimism is so over the roof I do a lot of crazy shit I wouldn’t normally do but with absolute certainty that it’s gonna come out all right. I ask myself “what am I doing?”, knowing I have no answer.

Anyway, you can’t really define this Steemian easily. He’s a musician, a visual artist, a philosopher, and a healer. I’m sure he’s much more than this, but that’s what I’ve perceived so far. Personally what I’ve enjoyed most is his musical creations which you can find here, as well as his comments that usually offer much wisdom.

wwwiebe@wwwiebe

A very nice person, which you can talk about anything with. He’s a lot into toys which isn’t really my area but I consider interesting nonetheless. I suppose he’s very different from most people I follow but I like to visit his blog from time to time and see what he’s up to.

wales@wales

As many of you know, Dean Moriarty, known here as wales@wales, passed away about two months ago. Despite not being able to “follow” him, he’s worth mentioning as he was one of the most creative writers in the whole blockchain. He was also a deep thinker and sensitive soul with whom I shared many interesting conversations.

Reading wales@wales was not always easy. He liked to put the rational mind in danger and made it a point to rip apart the logical sequence of any story. If you wanted a text that went from point A to point B, then you were in for some real frustration. But if you read with heart and forget what “should be”, you find wisdom, insight and multi-dimensional appreciation of existence. That was wales@wales magic.

He is so loved by the Power House Creatives that they created a bot for the Discord channel you can summon by writing .wales and it will quote something he said. Surprisingly it usually has much to do with what he would have actually said in the conversation and you feel like wales@wales is actually participating, though perhaps he is.

Special mentions

There are many other Steemians who I can think of mentioning but with who I’ve had less interaction with. Still wanted to give a shoutout to: trincowski@trincowski, spellmaker@spellmaker, iamraincrystal@iamraincrystal, manoldonchev@manoldonchev and valued-customer@valued-customer, who have made my stay here on Steem more fun and welcoming.

Overall, lots of beautiful people here making the blockchain be a special place. Grateful for meeting them and hoping to know more people as time passes by. Thank you all for your support and allowing me to learn from you!
