As you all know, I work the 12-hour night shift at my hotel reception. It is a tough job, but I always make sure to greet every single guest with a big, real smile. Two nights ago, an elite guest checked into our hotel. He looked very tired and a bit stressed from his long travel. I did not treat him like a machine. I spoke very softly, handled his computer bookings super fast, and even brought him a fresh, hot cup of green tea to calm him down.
He stayed at our hotel for two days, and every time he passed by the reception, I made sure he had everything he needed.
I just treated him like I would treat anyone else鈥攚ith real care and respect. I honestly had no idea he was actually a big executive at one of the top 5-star hotels here in Lahore!
