Sunday of Obligation

Expression that came from the remote memory of childhood, when I went to 9 o'clock mass, although not out of devotion, but to have the opportunity to coincide with the girls in the choir.

The last time I went to mass, it was because of a girl, the same one who took me in my tender childhood. My mother.

[Choripanes stand on Avenida Costanera Norte]

Back to the present, yesterday and today, I rested from the walk on an empty stomach, but it was not a day of sitting. In the afternoon I convinced dulce.crucita@dulce.crucita to go for a walk, buy an ice cream and go through the square where the machines to exercise the legs are. His body and spirit were not up to such push-ups, so we passed by.
Surprise! A few meters away a soul was waiting for us, looking for us to have coffee and talk.
While chatting, we got into his car, which he works with for Uber, but yesterday afternoon he slowed down, so without thinking about it, we ended up on Avenida Costanera, listening to the landing and taking off of planes, while the Atlantic wind whipped us. We speculated if the president-elect of Venezuela, Edmundo, would be leaving on one of the planes, who after meeting with President Milei, had a trip to Uruguay scheduled.
And as with bread, the sorrows are less. We ordered some choripanes, which were our dinner, instead of cereal with yogurt.
It got dark and I didn't have the opportunity to take more photos of the place and we returned home.

This morning, coffee as usual, a green smoothie and a protein chicken pose, while I look at the news on social networks. One difference with the newspapers of the past is that they eliminate the walk to the newspaper kiosk.
I don't know where, but I have to go somewhere during the day.
If I'm not going to mass, or to the kiosk on the corner and Netflix will soon be showing Eternauta, the best thing I can do is move and not chain myself to the screen.

Before I say goodbye, I'll leave you with this song that I found on YouTube, so appropriate for today's headline.

It doesn't sound like tango to me, but if someone who knows something about it hears it, please enlighten me.
Enjoy a happy and restorative Sunday.
