At a tender age, it is expected of young people to choose how they want their future to become, it's a major role a person have to play in life without anyone trying to convince them to become what they want or think they are best at.
Young people making decision makes them know they are responsible for any results they get. Why? Because the decision was theirs, there is this confidence that comes when you are making a decision on your own, and when things do go as planned, they don't have to blame anyone for it, instead they learn from it.
Its not like someone telling you how to go about your life and other things. Don't get me wrong here, it's actually a good thing for people to get advice about something they don't know, but I don't think every actions should be directed by someone else, there are some things that are supposed to be our decision regardless the age.
As growth takes place, life begins to shape a person into something different. Then they realize that some of their childhood dreams begin to change, this time no one did the change, they did and it was fuel by their environment, or experience. When I was a little kid, i had many thing on my mind but when i began to grow, I realized that not everything is expected to work as planned, and also they are some dreams we have to give up for others to work out.
It's not being lazy, it's fact.
But in all, there are lessons people learnt after making decisions at a tender age, and it also helps one to be strong,courageous, independent and reasonable.
In the world, there are different types of people. There are people who depend on others for a way to go about their activities or even for life advice ( for me, I see this set of people as lazy) while they are those who don't like the idea of asking someone about what to do and what not to do. This kinds do everything on their own regardless the results, when things turns out well for them, the celebrate their wins and when they fail a Step, they learn from it and put in more efforts.
Getting things figured out by one self shows how strong and responsible we can be.
There is actually no fixed age for success, success is all about what we do today and how we respond to certain things in life.
It is also good to take our future serious. However, it is better not to make a decision than making a decision out of fear or pressure of life.
It is expected for People at a young age to figure out things by themselves because they have to learn from different views of life, and I believe it also plays a good role in the growth of a person.
