Talking about distraction, In school and also in life generally there are lot of distractions we face, but they question there is our attitude toward those distractions, do we allow them get to us or do we ignore them and case our dreams.
School is a place where we learn both good and bad things depending on what you want to learn. It exposes us to so many set of people, and we can also learn some life lessons from it. Not all students are the same, they are student who takes their lectures serious because they know where they are heading to and nothing can distract them from there academical dreams, and they are also some that get easly carried away.
The one thing every teacher wants from a student is to be able to understand what he or she teaches, so they can be justified. phone is not the only thing that can distract students when lectures are going on, some people just like making noise, while some chat when a lecture is going on. This things are more of distraction in a classroom or lecture hall than a phone, but if a School or lectureral wants to stop phones from the lecture hall,
they are some questions the teacher should ask themselves, one is if the phone is really the distraction and also the reasons why the students have the phone in the classroom.
Some parents gives their children phone to take to school with a strict warning of taking it everywhere they go just Incase of emergency.
For me, I will say phone should be allow in a classroom, but it should be silenced during hours.
Phone becomes a distraction to those who wants it to be a distraction.
