Like seriously, some people are behind bars for things they did not commit, it's really sad.
Hello, everyone. It's another weekend.
This weekend's topics are all interesting, and I think I will be discussing the second one because it reminds me of a day I never expected to experience in my life.
This happened about four years ago, but the wound is still fresh, asbidhappened yesterday. One day, my boss and I went to a house for some work, The main building was complete, and we were working on the boys' quarters. It was a cool and smooth day for us.
After working, we closed the gate, and he gave me the keys to the building to return to the father of the house owner, but he ( the father of the house owner) once told me to keep the keys with his brother in his absence. When I arrived home, I was very tired, so I gave the keys to my little brother to return, because I trusted he will also do so.
Some minutes later, the man whose son owns the house came to me for his key. I was surprised.
I told him it was with his brother; he refused to listen to me, and he dragged me along, forcing me to go see his brother. Immediately, he began shouting, as though I was a criminal who wanted to use his keys to rob him.
On getting there, his brother denied receiving the keys, and my little brother has already told me he gave them to him.
Before I knew it, I was slapped, and people began to gather. That's when his brother brought out the keys and was like, " Oh, I found it, I didn't know it was there."
I have never felt the way I felt that day in my entire life. Later on, the man came to me and apologized. I just looked at him and went my way. He didn't ask before reacting, and also, it's like his brother had an intention; that's why he kept the keys.
Many things went through my mind that day, and I was ashamed of going outside, because people might also see me as a thief, which I am not.
Thank you for reading.
