Cover your eyes for a while and think about how you feel. What would happen if you kept them closed for a long time? Well, you'd probably feel annoyed and end up opening them. But what if you were blind and couldn't open them even if you wanted to? It would be a very difficult and sad situation. Well, Trig was born blind and has felt that frustration since birth. He doesn't know what light, stars, or even the faces of his family members are. Growing up with this condition was very hard for him because he didn't understand why he couldn't see.
Despite how difficult the process of reaching adulthood was, he never gave up. And he fought to the end, overcoming every obstacle that came his way. All of this gave him the confidence to continue fighting in life. Although there's one small thing that has always been on his mind. He feels that his life has only been about surviving and enduring, but never about fulfilling himself as a person or pursuing a dream. In other words, according to him, he only lives to fight another day.
Even so, he doesn't share these negative thoughts with those around him. He keeps them to himself. Being blind from birth, he has developed a remarkable sense of touch, allowing him to recognize objects, remember their location, and generally navigate his home with ease. He earns a living with this ability, using it to count and polish plastic parts at a plumbing shop. Up until now, his life has been marked by a constant struggle, simply getting by. But all of this is about to change. Trig has a brother, and that brother had children, so now he has nephews and nieces.

Every weekend they came to the house to spend the afternoon with Trig and play with him. They told stories, played hide-and-seek to see if Trig could find them, and generally had a fun afternoon. But one time, Edil, his youngest nephew, was playing on his cell phone. And Trig was sitting beside him, listening to him play. What he was playing on the phone was a piano game. Edil had already played it quite a bit, so he knew how to do it very well. He told Edil that he was amazed at how well he did.
Then Edil replied that it was very easy and that if he wanted, he would show him the position of the keys so he could learn too. Trig laughed because he had never done it before, but in the end, he agreed. Amazingly, since he had a good ability to remember the position of things, with Edil explaining it to him a few times, he was able to learn. And he started playing too. Edil was so amazed to see his blind uncle playing the piano on the phone that he recorded him doing it to later show it to his dad, that is, Trig's brother.

When he got home, he immediately showed it to his father. His father was also surprised, so he shared it on social media. And that was that. But a few days later, an organization that helps blind people became interested in Trig's case. They were offering to help him learn to play a real piano. And if he learned, they could give him one. His brother immediately accepted. The next day, the organization's team arrived, and together they went to see Trig. They told him what they had planned for him. He simply started to cry because he couldn't believe that so many people cared about him and were offering him such a great opportunity.
Now he will have to practice a lot and learn to play a real piano. But we can be sure that he will succeed, as he has done so many times in the past. The best part is that when he succeeds, his life will no longer be just another day in the same routine, but a life with meaning. He will achieve it.
