Welcome to the month of march and it's not just empty but loaded with another life transforming, challenging, value adding theme for consideration.
When I stumbled on this engagement from the community, I deliberately stoped other things that I was doing and gave it my wrapped attention. Immediately I said I must share my humble perspective on the entire subject because it just too good to participate.
Human beings are characterized by different factors which brings out our distinctive nature, approach and conduct of life. I want to believe that no two human being are the same even if they are twins there must be a dichotomy. It's on the strength of that which determine the resultant effect of life response.
Before I proceed deeply, it won't be out of contest if we consider some definition of term especially the keyword satisfaction.
What's Satisfaction?
I think this is a common word or term used if not frequently but most often. I will define it on the basis of my perception.
Satisfaction is when joy or happiness is derived from accomplished task or assignment.
Satisfaction makes an individual excited, feel fulfilled, over gladden over a situation.
Satisfaction entails the feeling of being fulfilled or a need being provided with solution or an expectation made.
Our need or expectation might defers but when this is made, we can satisfaction is derived.
How satisfaction is derived.
There are so many indices to proof or show that one is satisfied. I think the main factor that triggers satisfaction is expectation, or need or fulfilment.
Based on the aforementioned points, what determines satisfaction is actually peculiar but that doesn't neglect the fact that there is general or conventional satisfaction which is experienced by virtually everyone.
My perspective
I would like to share my personal view on this subject and also life experiences on how I became satisfied.
- GOAL ATTAINMENT. As for me this is one of the foundation for deriving satisfaction. I am purpose driven in all that I do. Goals are very important in the life. It gives direction, bearing and focus to an individual. Therefore when one achieves this, there's an instant joy that oozes from the bowels. I could remembered vividly, when I attained one of my goals this year. I like setting out goals yearly, quarterly, monthly, weekly and daily. Whenever I discovered any of my target achieved there lies my true satisfaction.
- INNOVATION. Satisfaction means different things to different people. I have a science background which makes me fall in love with new discoveries, initiation etc once this is done, hmmm I become the most happiest person on earth. One day some few things in my house got spoilt and I was at the verge of going to an artisan but when I rethink, courage came and I opened it, fixed it.
- WHEN NEEDS ARE SETTLED. One of the clear way of satisfaction as I kept saying is when you have a need and all of sudden settled like debt etc. There's nothing that sets a family man in disarray like when he has surplus need but limited resources to Carter for the needs. Any moment there's no money hmmm sometimes no satisfaction but when there is adequate provision, joy overflows everywhere.
CONCLUSION
Satisfaction is a feeling that sometimes might not be noticed by third parties but the bearer knows. Satisfaction could be when the emotional vacuum is filled or sorrow replaced with joy.
When you have enough food to eat satisfaction can be derived also.
