"I was looking for this occasion to make her happy and now finally it's her day. I truly want to make this day memorable for her. Zara! Will you help me to add more colours to her day?"
These were my words to my sister a year ago when I was planning to surprise my best friend on her birthday. She is my childhood friend, we grew up together and studied in the same school. Every time we try to celebrate our birthdays together. So this is what my sister replied to me,
"LOL...I am hearing this continuously for so many years. Every time you showed the same excitement."
I replied,
"This is because, she is not only my friend but my soul mate. I like doing things to make her happy."
In short, she was agreed to help me to make arrangements. First we went to the market and bought some accessories for decorations. It was a hot summer day, but still we managed to do everything on time. We made all the arrangements in the backyard, as it is surrounded with flowers. We covered the plants and trees with colourful lights and decorating accessories.
My friend was already invited, but I lied to her that I just want to discuss something with her, so she must come to visit me. Actually I wanted to give her a surprise, so I never let her know about my plan.
In short, everything was ready and we were waiting for her and other friends. But suddenly we noticed a slightest change in weather.
Zara: "Don't you feel some kind of humidity in weather?"
I replied,
" Yes I can feel the sudden change, but the weather was clear before. "
Zara: "This was the reason I was asking you to make the arrangements inside the home."
A slightest wind started, I was sad to see the situation of weather and little by little it was getting worse. A little time was left and it was not possible for us to shift everything inside the home at that moment. Soon the wind changed into heavy storm and we experienced thunder, lightning and heavy bursts of wind. Everything was ruined as we were only able to shift the cake table inside. I was deeply sad at what happened in few minutes. After the thunderstorm, my friend came and we did a small birthday celebration inside home with the cake we rescued during the storm...Lol
Although, the storm ruined my plan but I showed the pictures of the arrangements to my friend which I made for her. She was happy and teary to see my efforts. So my plan to make her happy was achieved.
