I had to visit many food and beverage manufacturing units in the health department, most of these manufacturers followed the Food Administration rules, but sometimes negligence and some manufacturers were found to ignore these rules in the greed of saving money.
I received a similar complaint that a sugar manufacturer with a license to manufacture alcohol as a sub-product, had a very bad smell coming out of the factory. Due to this, the citizens living in the colonies around that factory are facing problems.
Our team inspected that sugar factory and found that it is preparing alcohol from other items and rotten fruits and molasses as well as alcohol made from the sub-product of sugar product.
In order to make more profit, the producer used to buy and collect the rotten fruits that had spoiled in the markets in open containers on a large field and further rotted those fruits by adding yeast to make wine.
Due to this, the decaying smell spread far and wide, and the citizens were getting upset.
