Morning always has a simple way of teaching us about serenity. From behind this fence, the street still looks quiet, while sunlight slowly touches the trees and houses across the way.
There is nothing extraordinary about this scene just an old fence, a small road, trees growing freely, and a morning atmosphere that feels so peaceful. Yet, it is precisely in these simple things that I often find a reason to pause.
Sometimes we are too busy chasing after something, forgetting to appreciate what is right in front of us. In reality, a morning cup of coffee, the fresh air, the sound of birds, or simply standing and watching the street from behind the fence is enough to make the heart feel lighter.
This morning, I choose not to rush. I am savoring the light, observing my surroundings, and capturing a simple corner that might feel different by tomorrow.
This morning’s freewrite reminds me that serenity does not always have to be sought far away. Sometimes, it is simply waiting for us to pause and take notice.
