This morning, while I was having my morning tea, I heard the sound of someone coming at the door. I was just thinking that the person who came to the door said, "I have come from the courier company. You have an envelope. Please come and get it." I said, "Oh well, I left the tea in the middle and went and got my envelope from the courier.
" After the courier left, I had tea and then opened the envelope and looked inside. There was an invitation letter and a small letter in it. It was written in the letter ,Mr. Gilbertz we were very happy with your services, so this invitation is being extended to you on behalf of our boss.
Our boss is opening a new company on June 13th, and in this only a few selected people from the country have been called. You are also included in this.
I was surprised to read the letter because I am a bank manager of modest status and the person who sent this invitation letter was a multimillionaire. People of status like me have less status than his servants.
But I remembered about the incident when a payment for this person's company was stuck due to some technical reason. That payment was cleared only with my help. And that day, this person was saved from suffering a great loss. Perhaps that is why he has invited me to the opening ceremony of his new company.
I reached the venue of the ceremony on June 13th dressed in my best clothes. I was amazed to reach there. I had never seen in my whole life a party with so much decoration and royal preparations with my own eyes only in movies.
A bit hesitant, I sat down at a table and kept checking all the luxurious arrangements of the party. A waiter served me a drink, which I took very simply. There, the brightness of the richness of the invitee was visible from all the food items.
Everything there in that party had a different shine and I was so surprised to see these things but then I remembered that heard a famous line from the mouth of the different persons that money talks.
