Martha was posted as the sales head of a leading company in the manufacture of computer chips, her company was to be tied up with another large multinational company. For this, both companies wanted to have a meeting. The venue of this meeting was decided by both of them in the lobby of a multi-star hotel.
Martha had a lot of knowledge of her work, but apart from this, she was also very famous for her dressing sense. She felt that a person should choose the dress according to their work and position. That's why she was always dressed in tight black outfits during work.
Even today, she had to go with her company's assistant to take a view of the preparations for organizing that meeting, so she was going towards that multi-star hotel in her private car when there was an accident in that area, for some time, traffic police had blocked the road on both sides, the roadblock was expected to open in about 20-25 minutes.
But Martha did not want to destroy the time while sitting in the car, so she told her assistant that the distance of the hotel from here is only 400-500 meters, let's reach there on foot, so that time can be saved.
Taking this decision, Martha and the assistant walked towards the hotel on foot, they asked the driver to inform them after reaching the hotel whenever the roadblock opens.
Martha reached the hotel to take a look at the preparations for the meeting, and gave some specific instructions to the manager of the hotel, meanwhile the manager offered them both a cup of coffee, which they accepted with great humility as their car had not yet arrived.
Martha continued to discuss with her assistant the points to be discussed in the meeting. Then the driver appeared in the lobby and he informed me about the arrival of the car.
Satisfied with the preparations for the meeting in the hotel, both went back to their company.
