These days there were more prisoners in jail than their capacity, they used to fight with each other throughout the day.
The jailer applied his mind and he thought that if some of these prisoners were put on outdoor duty outside the jail, then there would be peace inside the jail throughout the day and at the same time some work could be taken from them.
Thinking so much, the jailer instructed some of the prisoners of calm nature that from tomorrow they will take the animals of the jail to the pasture located in the farm inside the jail for grazing so that the cattle can be taken care of.
The prison had over 100 of its own cattle which were raised for the needs of the prisoners. These cattle were kept by the staff of the jail itself and a pasture was made for these cattle on the premises of the jail itself.
Near this pasture, there was a barn and a place to keep animals for the food supplies of the prison inmates. To take care of this place, the jail had put some employees on duty.
But the new arrangement made by the jailer had given a sigh of relief to the jail staff. Now many prisoners were found to help him in his work.
