Jane had been in the dark for so long. A fool for love she had been and at that minute, she was beginning to doubt if her husband had really placed her on a pedestal. Maybe all he really did was take advantage of her venerability...

She recounted how Blake had hit her in the room, on the couch, kitchen and even in front of the kids for some silly reasons. She fought herself hard knowing that she had incessantly apologized at every moment it happened.

But why? She knew not the answer to such a question. Of course giving a reply would sound stupid since there weren't any reasons to justify Blake's actions and her ignorance to those things as well. Did she turn a deaf ear to all his insults and a blind eye to all his bullshit just to keep her marriage? Or was it because she loved him without faults and endured in due course?

Well, none could tell but Jane was going to be that woman again. The confident, brave and passionate woman whom everyone admired. She was leaving… For the sake of her sanity, for the sake of being whole again. She was also leaving her kids back until she got a lawyer. Though it hurt her but she wiped her tears and set out the door. And when Blake had spotted her from the other end of the mint shop, he struggled with his bag packs to get to her like a usual possessive man.

His last words were "Tell me you ain't leaving"... With a harden look on her face, she stood in 'utter silence', leaving him awed to his bones as she finally let go of the symbol that binds them.
