A winner

A winner isn't a winner because he came in first,
But that he completed that which he thirst.
A winner isn't a winner because everyone else could see,
But that he did as was his destiny.
See my purpose here upon this earth,
Was given to me upon my birth.
My joy which is only understood by me,
Is to accomplish what is meant to be.
As I seek to achieve the goals in my heart,
Deep in my soul is where it did start.
I strive to fight through tribulations and I succeed,
Because it's a desire to which I do need.
I push past the comfort until I can be,
The greatness that God put in me.
And so my winning, my success is not about anyone else,
But it is about what is deep in myself.
